We have been in the industry of adding joy to the crowds since 1985 from nightclub residencies, local pub circuits and years of private functions in both Australia & NZ.
One of our strengths is being able to "read the room", making sure everyone hears their favourite song or artist.
You will hear vocals with experience to cover songs from all eras and styles, and harmony that blends it together.
We love to interact with everyone and encourage crowd participation!
Our sound is full and punchy using a professional PA system & pro music tracks accompanied by keyboard and percussion.
You could describe us as a mash up of a Band & a DJ, which makes us Live & Versatile!
Our entertainers are ready to mix up a night of tunes, bring you some easy listening singalongs, or belt out the dance floor bangers for any event.
We believe a music performance is not about the people onstage, its about having fun with the people in the room.

Incredible music and great energy! I booked these two for my birthday party after going to many Rock'nRoll gigs that they were playing at. If you want music to dance to, a great stage set up and friendly interaction - this is the duo for you!
We booked Flipside for a combined 50 & 70th celebration. This is the 3rd event we have had with this fabulous DUO. Even the non dancers commented how good the music was! I always love their stage setups. Highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ P.S sorry about playing hide and seek with the microphone
We booked Flipside for our car club connection at Easter weekend. They were awesome. Lots of fun, professional ,they knew how to read the crowd and had people up dancing all night. They even went above and beyond with a slideshow of our cars on it. 5 stars from us!
Fabulous band, great music to suit your wishes. I have been on a committee, twice, where we had Flip Side play for our function. So very easy to deal with and just all round great people. Highly recommend Flip Side.

Are we able to use your Mic for speeches?
When do you set up?
For a private function we will arrange a time with you to have access to the venue at least 3 hours before the guests are due to arrive.
For a Hospitality public venue we normally like to set up a couple hours before if possible
Can we request songs?
How long do you play for?
Most events are between 1-4 hours
Depending on the duration you choose is whether there are breaks.
If the night requires us to, we will supply music in between
Do we need to pay a deposit?
We ask for the balance to be paid in full at the latest 2 days before the function if by internet banking, otherwise cash on night if you prefer
Do you always post your events on social media?
It has been a blast and we look forward to many more!
